PRC OTLE Results Released: June 2024 Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination

Regarding individual achievements, Charlie Niere of Davao Doctors College Inc. emerged as the top performer, achieving an impressive score of 82 percent. Following closely were Dio-Anna Libang from the University of Perpetual Help System – Laguna with 80.80 percent and Loise Olimba from Davao Doctors College Inc. with 80.40 percent. These top achievers represent the dedication and determination essential for success in the demanding occupational therapy field.

The exam, conducted from June 3 to 4, assessed the knowledge, skills, and competence of aspiring occupational therapists, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals obtain licensure. The PRC announced that details about the oath-taking ceremony for successful candidates will be revealed later, marking their official entry into the profession.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently disclosed that out of the 342 candidates who undertook the Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination administered by the Interim Board of Occupational Therapy in N. C. R., Cebu, and Davao in June 2024, only 123 successfully passed, indicating the stringent standards of the assessment and the commitment required to excel in this specialized field.

The Interim Board of Occupational Therapy, under the esteemed leadership of Hon. Eduardo R. Peregrino, Jr. as Chairman, along with Hon. Delia R. Pabalan and Hon. Rolland Lyle D. Duque as Members, meticulously oversaw the examination process to ensure its fairness and integrity. The results of the examination were promptly released within two working days from the conclusion of the exams, reflecting the efficiency and transparency of the board's operations.

Commencing from June 25, 2024, the registration process for obtaining the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be facilitated online through the official PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph. Prospective registrants are advised to adhere to the provided instructions for the initial registration procedure. Essential documents to be presented during registration include the duly completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, the notice of admission (for identification purposes), two passport-sized colored photographs with a white background and complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and a single short brown envelope. It is imperative that successful examinees personally complete the registration process and affix their signature in the Roster of Registered Professionals to formalize their entry into the occupational therapy profession.

Furthermore, the announcement specified that the date and venue for the upcoming oathtaking ceremony for the triumphant candidates of the Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination will be disclosed at a later time, signifying a momentous occasion to commemorate their hard-earned accomplishments and official induction into the esteemed ranks of licensed professionals.
