Cormier, born in Vancouver on October 8, 2009, has a Filipino mother hailing from Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines. Growing up in Vancouver, British Columbia, he developed an interest in acting.
Having featured in a Canadian cartoon series, Cormier made his debut in Get Shorty (2017) as a Guatemalan Urchin and later appeared in Lost in Space (2018). His noteworthy role as Joe in The Stand (2020), a young boy under the care of Nadine Cross, gained him widespread recognition.
