A heart attack ended Jaclyn Jose's life
Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, known professionally as Jaclyn Jose, a renowned Filipino actress, passed away on March 2, 2024.

She was celebrated for her performances on both the big and small screen. The cause of her death has not been made public. She was 59 at the time of her passing. She left behind a remarkable legacy marked by exceptional performances and earned international critical acclaim.
Her daughter Andi Eigenmann confirmed Monday.
"It is with great sadness I announce the untimely passing of my nanay, Mary Jane Guck, better known as Jaclyn Jose at the age of 60 on the morning of March 2nd, 2024 due to a myocardial infarction or heart attack," she said at a press conference, reading from a statement.
"We'd like to thank everyone who has extended their prayers and condolences to us as our family is trying to come to terms with this unfortunate incident. Please provide us the respect and privacy to grieve, and we hope this will put all speculations to rest," she continued.
